Our Story
CG Charitable was founded in 2004 by Charles and Gloria Pope—the "C" and "G" behind our name. Inspired by a shared desire to create a lasting impact, they launched the foundation with a clear goal: to help individuals living in poverty gain the tools and opportunities they need to become self-sufficient and build better futures. They now serve as members of the board at CG Charitable.

CG Charitable consists of a Board of Directors and a team of four who help bring their vision to life. The team includes Charles and Gloria’s son, Chris Pope, and three analysts—Kennedy, Alondra, and Jenny—who work closely to advance the foundation’s mission.
